Day Eight

This is harder than I thought. Whenever I come up with a comment I think has a chance, espn chooses something not even in the same area code as my statement. I thought I had a system, (but then again so did John Candy in "Once Upon a Crime") but now it seems there is no rhyme or reason to what the worldwide leader is choosing. How long until I go crazy and start trying things like "How come there are no cashew M & M's?" Only time will tell, friends. Only time will tell.

Today is Day Eight

RE: Spurs feel pain of losing 20 point lead, golden opportunity

"I guess even 20 points isn't a big enough cushion when you are playing Kobe. lakers in five!!1"

so, i know this isn't exactly mathematically the correct way to approach things, but what if you were to only comment on the nba, that way you'd be guaranteed to be in the running every other day or so, b/c they have to feature the nba some, but you wouldn't be stuck guessing wrong about which article they're going to draw from every time. its kinda like answering a multiple choice test all "C", you know you're missing some, but you're bound to get some right.

Best. Comment. Ever. You can never lose with 1s and LOLs.

My suggestion: comment overload. You never know which column the WWL will choose for the featured comment, so I would post in just about every one that has the option.

Don't give up. It takes time to reach the level of ineptitude of a show_time_again, who gave us this featured gem today:

"Spurs fans are trying to sleep ... but they keep having nightmares of KB24 coming to get them."

I guess made up nicknames that no one else uses are also helpful. I suggest dropping a "T-Dunc" in your next effort.
